We think you’ll agree that the logistics and quantity of shipments will play a vital role in the success of an e-commerce business.

Both measure the health of a business as well as the economic growth of a country; the more ships the better the economy.

Delivery services vary in price from country to country, but they have a common goal – delivering goods as quickly as possible.

However, if a country consistently delivers a huge amount of packages, would it not be your curiosity to be a business owner?

If you asked us, we would take a quick look, and we did!

The country with the largest amount of packages

Based on global shipment statistics, China has delivered the largest number of shipments.

It accounts for 68.79% of total shipments delivered worldwide since October this year.

The main destination of China’s package was the United States, where a growing number of consumers are pushing for Chinese products because of competitive prices.

In addition, China’s fast and cheap shipping service continues to attract more US customers to its online stores.

One example of a fast and affordable Chinese shipping service is ePacket, China Express Express Shipping, which is responsible for delivering online orders to the US, UK, France, Russia and Australia.

What’s coming out of China?

While authorizing China to offer cheap shipping, what non-Chinese customers are buying to take advantage of this service?

According to our research team, most Chinese shipments contain top-selling products from online stores like Alibaba and AliExpress, including:

  • Smartphones and smart watches
  • Clothes shoes
  • Computers and handheld devices
  • Home Appliances Household and Outdoor Products

Chinese sellers on the Amazon market using Amazon Prime China, which was unveiled last month, also made a significant contribution to the number of packages shipped from China.

Although China’s e-commerce is booming and increasing the volume of shipments for its B2C segment, 2015 Chinese export data shows that China accounts for over 60% of global shipping in the top 10 exports.

Among these lucrative export products are:

  • Electronic products
  • High technology products
  • Machines
  • Food and drinks
  • Clothes
  • Medical and industrial clothing and equipment
  • Plastic and ceramic products
  • Engines and generators
  • Steel products
  • Shoes

China’s main export destinations include the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Hong Kong and European Union countries.

In addition to China, Malaysia recorded the largest amount of packages delivered last month, accounting for 8.13% of total shipments worldwide.

According to Malaysia 2015 export data, the country’s top 20 exports include:

  • Integrated circuits
  • Petroleum oils
  • Semiconductors
  • Crude oil
  • Computer parts
  • Clothing and accessories
  • TV monitors and projectors
  • Printers
  • Asphalt mixtures
  • Animal fats
  • Low-voltage switches and fuses
  • Phone devices
  • Optical readers
  • Sound equipment
  • Home furniture

Then, large quantities of packages shipped from the Netherlands, accounting for 5% of shipments shipped globally, contain transport equipment and machinery.

The main destinations of these products are Austria, Africa and the United States.

Then, Singapore’s total shipment of 3.70% consists of clothing, household appliances and groceries.

Hong Kong accounts for 2.60% of the total worldwide shipment of consignments, with most of the products delivered being apparel, accessories, skin care products, shoes and bags.

You can also ship to multiple countries and use reliable shipping services that are not only reasonably priced but also capable of delivering fast orders to customers.

As long as you have the right products in stock and an order management system in place, nothing could interfere with shipping large quantities of packages.
