Are surveys paid for online? This question has two parts. The first part is market research companies that have been in business since the 1920s. When the Internet came into being in the 1990s, it shifted the industry to a more internet presence.

Before the internet, companies would use market research companies to use door-to-door surveys, send them by mail, use the phone to conduct them and in groups of people.

Once the internet came up, it completely revamped the industry. Now, companies are able to deliver paid surveys directly to their email inbox. This invention has created even more online companies and has added another element and workforce to existing market research companies.

Internet companies created are not scams. Existing companies that existed before the advent of the internet are also not scams. Market research companies are very generous and go beyond what is available on the internet today when it comes to making money online. Most companies want to make some kind of payment from people. The opposite is true for companies that pay for market research. They pay you a subscription and can even offer a signup bonus just to join. It seems that fraud is actually a legitimate way of doing business.

The other part of the question about paid internet fraud scams is real websites that are scams and use the nature of free paid internet surveys as a way to get people into fraud.

People looking for research websites to join, or trying to make some money online, may come across a website that looks like real research that promises them some rewards like gadgets or money in the end.

The scam is that people end up paying some sort of price for the product or service. The unsuspecting party can also come across an endless loop of websites with ads on them. Another scam might be trying to enter an email so they can send you an email with ads and offers. The worst case is that they stole your credit information, messed up your credit, and stole your money.

These are just some of the real scams that exist. Frauds use the paid survey front because they cannot be joined. Any time a program is free to join to make money, it will attract visitors. Unfortunately, fraudsters will earn this great way and turn it into a way to commit fraud to unsuspecting parties.

The best way to avoid fraud is to check our pages. They can have a phone number and / or email on the contact page so you can ask questions before joining. Check with the Better Business Bureau to find out if they are registered and rated. Another great way to find legitimacy is to check if they have site credentials. Usually, a certified sticker such as a TRUSTe Certified label will appear at the bottom of the website.

Mostly paid online surveys are real and legitimate. Market research companies have been around for over 60 years and are now using the internet as a way to help people make money online without having to pay anything. Businesses spend billions each year on market research and you will find many companies that pay millions to their members as a reward for completing paid surveys with them. Unfortunately, scams do exist to harm you or your computer.
