What is Tolun and how does it work?
Toluna is a platform for the online community that lists frequent surveys that you can fill out in exchange for awards.
Users who have completed these surveys are known as “Tolune Impacts” – so called because the surveys you conduct are used by major brands to help them understand what they are doing right, what they are doing wrong and what they are doing. should to do.
Tolun influencers are paid in the form of points, which, in turn, can be redeemed for a number of items, including gift cards, Competitive works or good old-fashioned money.
But polls are not the only way earn rewards in Tolun – You can earn extra goodies by interacting with the Toluna community, playing games and, if lucky, winning the site’s daily lottery draw.
How much money can you make on Toluna?
It is difficult to put the exact amount of your potential salary, because how much you get from Toluna depends on how much you invest.
With this in mind, it is safe to say that surveys are undoubtedly the largest and most reliable way to make a profit from Toluna.
It is often asked that everyone can pay 15 to 50,000 points (depending on its length), but we found that most surveys can pay us 1,000 to 1,000 points (although the pair was less than half and the others were up to 20 000).
Judging by the number of points required to purchase each value of a gift card, it seems that £ 1 is approximately 5500 points.
You can only earn PayPal money at £ 35 – if you want to redeem points for a value below that, you’ll have to submit a gift card (or one of the random items they sell, but we argue that spending your earned points isn’t worth it. ).
Several coupons are designed for stores that sell almost everything (Tesco and Amazon specifically), so if you go for them, your gift card will basically be as good as cash.
What’s more, depending on the number of points needed to purchase each gift voucher, Tesco and Amazon loans work as well as paying PayPal £ 35 anyway!

Toluna also offers physical rewards for their points. For example, at the time of writing for 14,000 points you could plant a tree in Uganda, Peru or Thailand, and for 20,000 you could buy a few seeds to plant yourself.
You can also use your points to enter the Toluna daily lottery, but as we discuss later, this is not what we would recommend.
Reviews of Tolun
When we asked our students Facebook is engaged in the group What they thought of Tolun was repeated over and over again: the amount of time it takes to get the reward.
– Personally, I found too much time to collect points, but if you do not mind the time it takes than I would recommend. Here you can do everything, not just surveys. Essay
– I have been using it for years and several times I have managed to get a PayPal loan of £ 35. Get there a lot of time. Rachel
– It will take ages to collect points, but you still get the load [of surveys] every day. [Your points] also expires 16 months after you earned them so I lost £ 20. Sophie
– Yes, well, if you are willing to invest time and commitment, it takes a lot of surveys to get points [though]. Shannon
9 ways to earn points in Tolun
Here are the best ways to make money on Toluna:
Surveys of Tolun
As we have touched on above, the polls underlie Tolun’s proposals. They are the most lucrative and reliable way to earn Tolun points, and there are usually several surveys that you can go through at any given time.
Surveys are uploaded by brands, which then use the responses to report on their work, and they cover a range of topics.
We saw the polls further personal banking, shopping habits, movies, travel, sports and more, and each is listed along with the number of points offered, as well as the time it will take to complete.
There are two benefits to replenishing surveys in Toluna: the more you do, the more you will be rewarded. But other than that, the more surveys you fill out, the more Tolun will direct you to – and the more relevant it will be for you.
As a new Toluna informant, you will often find that you are diverted from the survey after a few questions about the screen (e.g., “Do you have children?”) That determine if you fit the profile of the respondent you want.
True, after a while Tolun will take into account your answers and adapt the types of surveys that they will send to your profile in the future.
Well, and just quickly raise your head: if you go to the survey center of Tolun, do not be fooled that there is only one.
They’ll make a great song and dance about the “recommended” poll (labeled “1” in the image above) and make it look like the only one, but there are actually plenty of additional polls under the slightly hidden “Upload more” button (“2” is indicated in the figure).
How much money can you make on Toluna surveys?
Most Toluna surveys pay 1,000-2,000 points and take five to 20 minutes, but it happens to pay much more than that (we found a 15-minute survey that paid up to 6,000 points) and others that take longer.
Tolun’s 5,500 points are roughly equal to 1 pound, which is not huge amount – especially considering that some surveys can take a long time and still pay a small amount. So it goes without saying that you should always prioritize shorter surveys with greater rewards.
Sometimes differences in points and times can make this choice difficult. But don’t sweat – you can quickly calculate this by dividing the number of points offered by the number of minutes that Toluna says it will take, leaving you with what we’ll call Points per minute (PPM).
To illustrate this, let’s use two examples in the image above. The lifestyle survey pays up to 6,000 points and takes 15 minutes, meaning you can earn up to 400 PPM.
Later, the business survey pays 1,200 points and takes nine minutes, meaning you can earn up to 133 PPM. It is clear that lifestyle is the most economical use of your time!!
If you want to take things to the next level, you can even convert PPM to equivalent hourly wage. All you have to do is multiply the IRM by 60 to get the hourly rate of points and then divide the rest by 5500 (the approximate value of 1 pound in Tolun points).
We developed an equivalent hourly rate for all surveys available to us at the time of writing, and found that the average pay was up to £ 1.26 per hour. With this in mind, there have been some allocations (several pay £ 3 an hour or more), so perhaps the most telling figure is the median: just 1.16 pounds per hour.
As you may have guessed, these numbers are much lower than these The UK National Minimum Wage. But instead of generally disrupting surveys, we recommend following those with the highest equivalent hourly rate.
For example, the lifestyle survey pictured above pays the equivalent of up to £ 4.36 an hour – still below the minimum wage for those aged 18 and over, but isn’t a horrible way to make a little extra money .
Fill out profile profiles
On the “Polls” tab at the top of the screen you will find the “Questionnaires” option. Not surprisingly, these surveys help give Tolun a better idea of who you are and what interests you.
There are a total of 14 profile profiles, each paying 100 points and taking a couple of minutes apiece. Each survey can only be completed once, and it is best to do so the first time subscribe to Tolun as you go forward, this should mean that you are only presented with the relevant surveys.
In terms of effort required and suggested items, profile profiles are definitely one of the best ways to start making money on Toluna!
Vote in a sponsorship election
Go to the “Polls” tab at the top of the screen again and you’ll find an option for “Ad Content.”
This will redirect you to an election in society that has a reward (usually 15 points apiece), and each poll takes just a couple of seconds.
We’ve found that the list can sometimes contain some polls without rewards, and so the trick is that check for points next to “Vote!” button, not the number of people who have already voted.
Use the image above as a guide in case you are unsure – in Figure 1 – the survey is not sponsored, and in Figure 2 – the survey with the award.
Post in the Tolun community
Race through all the sponsorship polls? Don’t worry! There are a few more ways to earn points in the Tolun community – perhaps the most lucrative of these is publishing your own content.
However, there is one nuance: not all user-generated content will be rewarded, and Toluna will say he values quality over quantity. Toluna herself chooses which content receives a reward, giving up to 1,000 points for each work.
But what is considered “quality content”? Well, every content content can be attracted and rejected by community members, and anything that has a lot of results is more likely to be rewarded.
Toluna also advises conducting surveys and topics title, image or video and a clear personal opinion are in the lead for some awards.
As for the topic, you should go to the community and go to the “Popular” tab. This will show you the content that gets the most interaction at the time, and in turn that will most likely get a reward for you!
If you feel that your posts are really close to the Toluna community, you may have even made a “content creator of the month” – a reward for Toluna Influencers, who regularly publish quality content that itself comes with a bonus of up to 10,000 points.
Take part in the competition
Toluna often holds contests to encourage users to post more content to the community. In return, those who participate are awarded several points and enter the prize draw.
Take, for example, the competition for Valentine’s Day 2019. They asked users to start their own topics with a detailed description of their plans for V-Day, and all participants were given the right 1000 points. Toluna then almost all eight best topics and awarded the authors of each publication dinner for two, delivered to the appropriate homes.
These contests will appear every time, but if you can’t wait for the next one to come …
Start your own contest
Do you want to wait for the next contest of the Tolun community, which will take place in the city? Why not start your own?
Of course, all good contests need a prize – and if you can’t secure yours, you can contact Toluna and ask them to help you stimulate competition.
While you won’t get the right to win the prize on your own, Toluna will reward you 5,000 bonus points as a reward for getting the ball rolling. Worthy.
Turn to Talun
We love the referral bonus here, “Save the Student,” and praise that Tolun has one too.
Share the referral link with your friends and you will get it 500 bonus points for each member (up to 10 each month) who successfully sign up.
Well, and before you try setting up some fake email accounts to contact yourself, Toluna says they check every referral to make sure it’s legal!
Play the game Toluna
On the “Community” tab in the navigation bar you will see that Toluna also has a selection of games that you can play. Some games are always available and some are only available for a limited time. But most importantly, some can too win you points.
All games can be played for free, and the main opportunity to win points – Daily Toluna Wheel. All you have to do is spin the wheel and you can win anything with 80-100 bonus points – provided, that means you don’t land on the scary “Best of luck next time” spot. Dumped.
Enter the Toluna Daily Lottery
We kept it to the last because, as we briefly mentioned earlier, we wouldn’t actually recommend it as a way to earn points on Tolun.
Every day you will have the opportunity to enter the Tolun lottery, in which you will be able to win a million points (about 180 pounds). You will be automatically entered each time you complete the survey, but you can increase your chances of success by spending 500 points on an additional entry.
There is no limit to the number of entries you can buy, but since it’s mostly gambling, we believe you probably better keep your points and then redeem them for a guaranteed reward.
Clearly use Toluna will never make you a millionaire. But if you’re willing to put in hours, you can definitely make a little extra money online.
